Aids to help you identify your drinking
*Drinking Diary
It is sometimes hard to see whether your drinking has become excessive, but there are some methods you can use to find out.
Firstly you can fill in a drinking diary to see if you are exceeding the recommended amounts of alcohol per day and per week.
If you do find that you are drinking more than the 3-4 units (for a man)/ 2-3 units (for a woman) a day then maybe it is time to try and cut down on your drinking. The way in which you can do this are:
*Exchanging alcoholic drinks for non-alcoholic ones
*Watering down the alcohol (E.g. white wine spritzer)
*Cutting down on your drinking
*Getting external help (See useful contacts)
